Born and raised in Chiba, Japan. She practiced gymnastics in her childhood and enjoyed working out. She worked at a hospital assisting doctors and nurses for rehabilitation before she went to Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in 2006. She also has India official Yoga teaching license (YIC).  She has two children and practiced pregnancy yoga throughout her pregnancy. She has been practicing and teaching yoga for 15 years and teaching online yoga since the pandemic started.
